Giving Guidelines

 

$10- Plants a tree in the Peruvian Amazon that will one day grow into a towering giant, providing space for wildlife, storing carbon to mitigate climate change, and restoring the rainforest's delicate ecosystem in the face of deforestation, fires, and other human impacts.

$50- Plants 10 trees and provides the care they need to grow—we have to keep weeds from killing seedlings and protect them from fires, especially when they are young. Economy of scale also applies to tree planting, so giving a little more means even more trees!

$100- Funds our work with Brazil nut harvesters for en entire week. We are working closely with members of our community who harvest nuts sustainably across more than 20,000 hectares of natural rainforest where other extractive activities are prohibited, a rare win-win for people and nature.

$250- Covers the cost of a of our environmental educational programs for one week. We work with children from underserved single-teacher schools in southeastern Peru, so the time we spend with them makes a big difference in helping them develop environmental identities.
