Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations need to be submitted in writing by email to: info@sutainableamazon.org.

  • A $150 Application Fee is required to reserve your spot on the field course, which is non-refundable for any reason. 

  • Minimum enrollment is 4 participants. If this enrollment is not reached all payments will be reimbursed to the participant, including the $150 Application Fee. 

  • If any changes need to be made to the planned course itinerary or field sites due to unforeseen logistical or other circumstances before the course begins (e.g., changes to field locations, etc.), every effort will be made to minimize the impact on the overall course experience (e.g., similar field sites will be selected, dates will be modified as little as possible, etc.). Registered and/or paid participants will be notified by writing as soon as significant changes have been made and given the option to continue with the course or withdraw. In case of withdrawal for such cause all payments will be reimbursed to the participant, including the $150 Application Fee.

  • If you cancel before the Registration & Payment Deadline, July 3, 2020, all payments will be returned to you, minus the non-refundable $150 Application Fee.

  • No payments will be refunded after the Registration & Payment Deadline (July 3, 2020).

  • No refunds will be made for early departures from the field course for any reason.
